We were able to capture so many beautiful images of the California coast during our road trip from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, California. These were some of our favorite places to visit while on our road trip. We hope these pictures are just as jaw-dropping for you!

Muir Beach

We actually came across this beach in an attempt to get cell service to reserve a parking spot in Muir Woods.

This was the first time I have ever seen the west coast…I just had to soak it all up!

If you look closely, you can actually see a rainbow! There were blue skies over the ocean and dark, gloomy skies over the hills.

I always love to read the information on the side of trails about the local wildlife!
Devil’s Slide

This was formally State Route 1 until they had to close it due to frequent landslides.
Fitzgerald Marine Reserve

David and I get along so well for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is because we both share a love for marine life.

Want to know a fun fact? David tried using his “waterproof” cellphone to capture some shots underwater. It wound up dying for the rest of our trip!
San Gregorio State Beach
Pescadero State Beach

We actually came across this beach by accident. We were incredibly happy that we did…I’m sure you’ll see why!

We just couldn’t get over all the beautiful colors and foliage around California beaches…we just don’t get that in Jersey!

I was dying to experience a beach cave while on a California beach and I was not disappointed!

The beautiful rocks were something that we couldn’t NOT photograph!

Harbor Seals often like to sunbathe on the rocks offshore of this beach.
Pigeon Point Lighthouse

This lighthouse is currently in the process of being restored.

These photos wound up coming out better than I had anticipated. They’ve now become some of my favorite work!
Panther Beach

There’s really nothing quite like a Cali sunset, and Panther Beach didn’t disappoint us!

The sunset at this beach was absolutely magnificent.
